one easy anti-flu recipe and a plea for help November 05, 2011 |
Hello, My quest to help people recover or preserve their health by eating healthy suddenly took a hit... From Google! You may not know that Google updates its search algorithm from time to time. It factors in new criteria to rank websites. This time, big recipes websites like Allrecipes met these criteria better than my humble site. My kale and cabbage recipes pages were pushed down in the search results, and now I can reach 40% less people than I could in the beginning of October 2011. I need your help... One simple action that will take you half a minute can help me get back on track. Could you please do it for me? Go to http://www.choose-healthy-food.com/kale-recipes.html page now... If it is worth sharing with others, now is the time. Like it on Facebook, Google +1 it, leave me a comment or share a recipe ( I added a comment feature on the bottom of the page) . On the bottom of the page, there are more social buttons for you to use. This will show Google that this page is valuable to you. And if this page doesn't meet your expectations, can you tell me how to make it better? As many other unfortunate things in life, this one came at the wrong time. I am about to release my healthy meal plans. These meal plans are unique because they are easy, quick, healthy and tasty. This is a hard balance to strike, a necessary one for busy professionals over 35 who have little time to cook, yet have to eat healthy to KEEP their health from deteriorating. I think I nailed the way to do it. I think I will help people get their energy back, lose weight and reduce blood pressure. I want to reach as many people as possible. By the way, if you want to receive a free meal plan, please fill out my survey here: http://www.choose-healthy-food.com/kale-recipes.html Building and testing one meal plan requires weeks, so I do intend to sell them. I am giving away 30 copies ( 11 left) to people who generously help me make these plans useful for my subscribers. Thank you very much,
Anti-Flu Recipe: Basil And Onion pasteP.S. I'd like to share a wonderful, super easy recipe that protects your family from flu in this flu season. This is basil and green onion paste that I made after I have collected loads of scallions from my square foot garden.Take a cup of basil leaves and 2 cups of chopped green onions. Add 1-2 clover of garlic, salt to taste and 1 tablespoon of white wine vinegar. Mix in the blender, gradually adding olive oil ( about 1/2 cup). If your blender is not very powerful, you will need more oil, and that's OK. Use it as a dip or spread; on bread, veggies, with potatoes, meat, in soups and stews. It is very tasty and spices up any meal. It is strongly antibacterial and antviral due to the presence of garlic, basil, and green onions. Keep in jar with a tight lid. With time, its colour goes brown, but the taste and antibacterial qualities remain. To your health ( and thanks for your support of my mission) |
